McGraw Park in Bloomington, Illinois, was showing off for Mallory and Hayden’s engagement session! We met on the most beautiful summer evening with warm sunshine, lush greenery, and the loveliest light peeking through the trees. From the moment they arrived, Mallory and Hayden were absolutely beaming, and they brought the cutest little addition along to begin our time together…their sweet baby boy, Kylo!

Kylo was such a smiley little guy, and it was easy to see that Mom and Dad simply could not get enough of him. Their sweet family photos were the perfect way to start the session. Mallory looked stunning in a form-fitted maxi dress with delicate floral appliqués, while Hayden wore crisp khakis with a white button-down shirt. Handsome little Kylo coordinated perfectly in a white linen shirt and khaki linen pants. Seriously, they were the most adorable family!

After we captured plenty of snuggles, smiles, and loving moments as a family of three, Grandma stepped in to keep Kylo entertained for a bit. That gave Mallory and Hayden a chance to enjoy some time in front of the camera as a couple.

These two are so laid-back and incredibly in love, and their connection showed right away. Hayden knows exactly what to do to make Mallory giggle, which gave us so many genuine moments of them laughing together and simply enjoying one another. Nothing felt forced with these two. Their happiness came naturally, and it was such a joy to photograph.

We wandered through the lovely gardens at McGraw Park and took advantage of the dreamy sunlight filtering through the trees. As the evening continued, we became a little more playful, which brought out even more laughter and personality. Mallory and Hayden share such a special connection, and it was so much fun getting to capture this exciting season of their lives.

Their engagement session was absolutely wonderful from beginning to end, and now I am even more excited to celebrate with Mallory, Hayden, and little Kylo when they get married this fall!
