You know it’s going to be a good engagement session when the laughing starts before we even really begin. BriAnne and Jared showed up completely relaxed, instantly joking with each other, and honestly just happy to be hanging out together for the evening. The early October weather was giving us all the fall vibes too. Soft overcast skies, little pops of autumn color in the trees, and those tall flowering grasses that always photograph so beautifully this time of year. We spent the first part of their session wandering around, letting the two of them just be themselves, and it made for the sweetest photos. Jared had Bri laughing constantly, and the way these two interact with each other feels so effortless and fun. Since they’re both teachers, I think they were extra excited to spend some uninterrupted time together outside of school life for once. Their casual outfits fit the cozy fall feel perfectly, and some of my favorite moments from the night happened while they were tucked under a huge weeping willow tree just giggling nonstop together.

Then we switched things up a bit for the second half of the session, and honestly… I’m still not over Bri’s dress. The colors were SO good for fall, and paired with Jared’s burgundy sweater and khakis, they looked absolutely perfect together. By this point, the clouds had started to clear and we ended up with the prettiest golden light to finish out the evening. The whole session felt super playful and easygoing with lots of snuggling in close, twirling around, joking with each other, and just soaking it all in. Bri’s dress moved so beautifully every time Jared spun her around, and those little in-between moments ended up being some of my favorites. We wrapped things up out on a quiet country road with the sunset glowing behind them, and it honestly could not have been a more fun evening. Such an awesome engagement session with two genuinely sweet people, and now I’m even more excited for their wedding this fall.
