The first weekend of September gave us one of those dreamy almost-fall wedding days — warm sunshine, a soft breeze, and just enough golden glow to make everything look magical. Crooked Creek Whitetails Estate was showing off in all the best ways, with its peaceful pond, wide-open scenery, and those pretty little spots that make photos feel extra special. The whole day had that relaxed, end-of-summer vibe where everything feels calm and beautiful before the fall craziness hits.
One of my favorite moments from the entire day was Tori and Adam’s first look. As soon as Tori tapped Adam on the shoulder and he turned around, the biggest smiles instantly appeared. You could literally feel the happiness. After reading their private vows to one another, their bridesmaids and groomsmen joined us by the pond for bridal party portraits, and wow — what a crew! The bridesmaids rocked their green satin dresses with white florals, and the guys looked so good in their tan suits. The energy from their friends was unmatched… hype, supportive, goofy, and ready to celebrate these two all day long. And once it was just Tori & Adam, they slipped right into their sweet, effortless connection — the kind where they barely have to say anything, they just get each other.
Their ceremony was set up under the pergola overlooking the pond, and it felt so heartfelt and personal. One of the most meaningful parts was when they passed their rings around to their guests so each person could say a quick prayer or blessing over them. It was quiet, emotional, and so full of love. By the time they said their vows and officially became husband and wife, the whole crowd was smiling (and maybe wiping a tear or two).
And then the party really kicked off. Their reception was elegant but still totally them — fun, welcoming, and full of personality. The bridal party entrances were iconic, especially when they held up giant cutouts of Tori and Adam’s cats. The whole room lost it. Their first dance was so sweet, followed by family dances that definitely had everyone reaching for the tissues. Tori’s dance with her grandfather, Adam with his mom, and then Tori surprising her mom with a special dance… honestly, such a beautiful moment.
Before the sun slipped away, we snuck out to the wildflower field, and it was chef’s kiss. The light. The flowers. The colors. The way these two look at each other. Pure magic. Those are some of my absolute favorite photos from the day.
The dance floor did not slow down for a single second after that — it stayed packed all night. It was the perfect blend of laughter, celebration, and so much love for Tori and Adam. Truly the best way to kick off a lifetime together.
