When past brides or even bridesmaids share my name with friends looking for a photographer it’s always amazing! Yet, when a groomsman makes a mental note of the photographer after being in a friend’s wedding I definitely call that a win! Logan did just that when he popped the question to his beautiful fiancé, Kim and they began wedding planning! And I’m so grateful!

I met up with Kim and Logan at one of their favorites locations in Pawnee, Illinois for their engagement session…The football field! As long time Kansas City Chiefs fans they wanted to make sure to include this beloved pastime in their photos! Logan, as a former Pawnee High School football player, loved walking hand in hand with Kim on the gridiron on a gorgeous summer evening. These two are so laid back and carefree, it made my job so easy! They even threw on adorable shirts with their soon-to-be shared last name and wedding year! So cute!

We then headed out to Logan’s family farm in Pawnee to get a different look for their session. Kim and Logan had the perfect night to show off their love for one another and the backdrop was equally as amazing! Logan knows exactly what to say to get huge laughs and giggles out of Kim and it was so lovely! We wandered from one incredible spot to another and I loved every minute! I cannot wait to be a part of their 2020 wedding celebration!
