2018 Senior Selfie Contest
If you are a 2018 High School Senior, a parent of a 2018 senior, or know a 2018 senior then this post is for you! I am so happy to announce my first annual Instagram Senior Selfie Contest! High School can be be a ball of confusion, amazement, struggle, character building, discovery, and perseverance. It has been many, many years since I was a senior at Glenwood High School in Chatham. I know for a fact that life in high school has changed dramatically. However, those same feelings I just mentioned were all part of my daily life back then. I believe this is why I love working with YOU, the high school seniors. I’ve been there. I understand the emotions, heartbreak, triumph, and soul searching that goes into being in high school. Your senior session should incorporate your unique personality, joy, and youthfulness. I strive to make all my senior clients feel comfortable from the second we meet, throughout all the posed (and unposed moments) during your session, until the time we finish. High School seniors are such a diverse group with many different interests, ideas, and loves. Which makes you that much more appealing to work with.
So in comes the idea for the selfie contest on Instagram. Let’s face it, high school students probably take the majority of selfies that are out there. And Instagram is the perfect place to show off those selfies and stories. You already know how to make these candid photos fun, real, and full of energy. And I want to see all of them! Send me your goofy faces. Send me your serious model faces. Send me your best creative locations to show off your faces. Because those beautiful, awesome faces can win you a FREE SENIOR SESSION! WOW, RIGHT?! Not only do you get your full senior session, which is an hour in length, but it also includes the following for TWO (1 female & 1 male) Winners!
The female winner will also receive complimentary hair and makeup styling from Sidney Sim, owner of Studio 6 Salon. So you can be primped and pampered the day of your session. And I didn’t want my guy winner to feel left out. You will win a $50 gift card to your favorite clothing store to pick out some new threads for your time in front of my camera. Both sessions will be held in June of this year so when the new school year rolls around and you are the big seniors on campus you are ready to show off your photos!
