Meeting sweet Easton for his studio newborn session in Springfield, Illinois was something I had been waiting for! Especially after his mom & dad (aka Lauren & Trevor’s) maternity session in the snow, which you can see HERE! We froze our little tushies off outside so it was nice to meet this beautiful new family in the warm studio. His light blonde hair and chubby cheeks were fantastic and once his belly was full and he was off to sleep we got started. Lauren and Trevor are such proud parents of their little guy and their family photos were wonderful! We even included one of Trevor’s favorites, which I’m sure he will pass down to Easton, his love for baseball! Adding his baseball glove was a fun touch for father/son and family photos. Then it was Easton’s turn for his close-ups! Since he was born just shy of a week before Christmas, I thought we would go for a little nod to winter and the holiday season with a rustic wreath and adorable green stocking cap for him! So cute! And to finish my time up with Easton we grabbed a few more of him in a lovable matching knit hat and pants! I could eat up those cheeks! A few more minutes with his dad’s glove and the session was complete! The McGrath Family did a phenomenal job and I’m so excited I could capture their first official family photos! Congrats on your new addition, Lauren & Trevor!
