Filling my days with beautiful couples, wonderful families, and sweet cheeks like Mr. Jack’s make it all worthwhile. How lucky am I? On a beautiful winter day, I headed over to Jess and Dietr’s lovely home in the Chatham, Illinois area for their adorable son, Jack’s, lifestyle newborn session. Jack was supposed to be a January baby, but life happens and turns out he wanted to make his arrival closer to Christmas. So, of course, we had to get a few of his first family photos in front of their delightful tree. Judging by the few smiles Jack provided for us I would say that he is pretty smitten with his parents! With many snuggles and kisses, who wouldn’t smile? I had the opportunity to use an amazing repurposed table they had which came from an old family barn as a gorgeous backdrop for Jack’s close-ups! He was the perfect little model showing off a few adorable hats ranging from a hat with his namesake to his dad’s favorite cowboy hat! Plus since mom is a veterinarian, a couple of animals friends were a must for Jack’s first photos. And the magic of the entire session…Jack slept right through the entire thing!
