After most of my couple’s weddings, I do my best to keep up with where their love story takes them. And for Aryn and Matt it didn’t take long to hear about their joyful news of expecting a baby girl! What a blessing for me to have them entrust me not only to photograph their wedding memories, but now their new addition, Emersyn’s newborn photos. From wedding bells to a baby! Aryn and Matt started off as one of my wonderful wedding couples, who tied the knot last June in Virden, IL at a beautiful church that both hold so dear. Their wedding was amazing and you can check out their big day HERE! I enjoyed learning about their relationship throughout their engagement. They are incredibly pleasant and kind hearted. Now to see them as parents to their wonderful daughter is amazing to witness!
The first thing you notice about their little beauty is her amazing dark hair! Oh how I love a baby with hair! Matt said he also had lots of dark hair when he was born so he can take credit for this. Emersyn was born a few weeks early, but my goodness this girl is strong! I believe Aryn called her a little Houdini when it came to wrapping her! She seemed to always get her cute tootsies or arms out. We had some good laughs over it and I couldn’t complain cause who doesn’t like to see baby toes? Aryn and Matt brought along a few items that were Must Haves to include in the session. A knitted nurse’s cap handmade for Emersyn, plus mom’s stethoscope in honor of Aryn’s profession as a pediatric nurse. Matt grandfather’s rosary. As well as a couple of wonderful blankets with a gorgeous floral print and Emersyn’s birthday stitched with love. Emersyn did lovely as she snuggled with mom and dad for their first family photos and her close ups.
I’m so grateful again that Aryn and Matt thought of me after their wedding day to capture their continuing story as they turned the page to becoming parents. Emersyn is a doll and I’m so happy I had the chance to hold her and photograph that sweet face. Thanks again Peregrin Family!
