Last weekend I had the honor and privilege of meeting an amazing couple Judy and Terry, who were celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary! Their five daughters and their families were throwing them a huge party at the Springfield, Illinois Motor Boat Club on the lake. It didn’t take long for me to see all the love, fun, and kindness that went into Judy and Terry’s years of marriage while growing their family! The lake was a perfect backdrop for this couple since they have been members of the club for 40 of their 50 years married! They were both so welcoming and lovely as we went through photos with the two of them, their large family tree, and of course, with the cardboard cut out of the pair on their wedding day! So wonderful! Plus to add to the festivities why not pass around “Love Is All You Need” temporary tattoos for party guests? Everyone needs one of those, right? As I post this on my own anniversary, which is my ninth, Judy and Terry are an incredible example of how support, family, and humor can carry you through so many years! Congrats to the Happy Couple!
