I had been looking forward to meeting up with Tori and Adam for their engagement session at the gorgeous gardens at Allerton Park in Monticello, Illinois for a while and last fall was the perfect time! See, I already had a “Six degrees of separation” connection with Tori and until she reached out to inquire I didn’t know it. Her college roommates, Bre and Alyssa, are wonderful women who have been part of my life as well! Bre, is a past LWP Bride and current family client with a lovely new baby boy! And Alyssa, I swear keeps the behind the scenes of LWP running as my virtual assistant in my business. She’s my right hand girlie! As soon as Tori’s inquiry came through, I knew she was already good people with friends like Bre and Alyssa. Then, when I officially hugged Tori and Adam that sealed the deal! I instantly fell in love with their laid back personalities, their up for anything attitudes, and zest for life. They were ready to enjoy every second of their engagement session!

We began wandering the park finding little pockets of beauty and sunshine along the way. Tori was delightful in her short white dress with bell sleeves and an open back. While Adam was in a classic a crisp white button down shirt and khaki pants. We made our way to the sunken garden where I honestly think these two had the most fun. I introduced them to hip bumping while walking and the laughter that came out of them was contagious! We were lucky enough to find lots of stunning autumn colors to pop this duo off the backdrop as they snuggled in close.

After a quick outfit change into something a little more comfortable, Tori and Adam were ready to finish out their e-session. We took a drive down the road in the park and because Tori knows how much Adam LOVES his truck, she wanted to make sure we included a few photos with his beloved red truck. It was pretty adorable though seeing this pair laying in the back of the truck bed with a few pillows as the sun was setting. We then snuck over to a barn and some tall grasses to complete the evening as the winds whipped up on us and the stunning sunset dropped below the horizon! I loved every second with Tori and Adam and I cannot wait for their wedding day this fall to capture all their amazing moments!
