The amount of laughter and fun that came out of Kamryn and Brock’s engagement session last fall was the one thing I’m definitely going to remember from our beautiful evening spent together. These two are from the St. Louis, Missouri area, where their wedding will be held this summer, but they decided to travel up to me in Springfield, Illinois for a change of scenery for their engagement session. We met up downtown outside of a local church, which has some amazing architectural features to begin their photos. Kamryn had said they were a little nervous, but I assured her I was there to give all the directions to make them feel comfortable in front of my camera. Within a few minutes, these two were giggling and laughing their way through their e-session with ease. Brock has a way of simply giving Kamryn a goofy smirk and she bursts into laughter creating some of my favorite photos from our time together!

After being downtown, we opted to head to a gorgeous spot where the fall sunset could highlight this duo perfectly. Kamryn brought an added prop with a bouquet of colorful autumn flowers, which gave an extra layer of “Pop” to their photos. I totally adore fresh flowers at a session! The joy and ease these two have in one another’s arms is obvious and I took advantage of their playfulness with lots of movement and even a few prompted “Sneak attacks” by Brock caused adorable moments captured of these two. Kamryn and Brock shared they have been practicing their dip, so of course I had to get them to show that off for me! I cannot wait to be a part of their amazing wedding day this year in the St. Louis area! If it’s anything like their engagement session, I know it will be a blast!
