I met up with Samantha and Paul at their gorgeous venue for their big day, Lakeview Weddings in Camp Point, Illinois. This couple loves this spot so much they not only chose it for their nuptials, but they wanted to use it for the backdrop of their engagement photos. And even though it was my first visit to the venue, I can understand why! It’s absolutely delightful out there! Then you add in Samantha and Paul’s laid back and lovely personalities and it was all perfect on a sunny evening! They started out in a more casual outfit and looked amazing in front of the mirrored building on the property. We still had a few flowers that were popped for them in the middle of September. Samantha and Paul are absolutely adorable together and he does anything he can to make sure she smiles.

We found a beautiful willow tree to highlight these cuties where the light was perfectly peeking through. Then after an outfit change to a wonderful hue of blue the smiles continued as we wandered the area. I loved when they giggled together, which was a lot! It brought out Samantha’s little nose wrinkle from her pure joy! So adorable! For their last outfit, Samantha had a fantastic emerald green dress that paired perfectly with Paul’s plaid shirt. The sun was glowing magically for these two as we found a few more awesome spots near the pond and along the fence line. We ended the evening with a few spins to give this couple plenty of practice before the big day! I can’t wait to capture Samantha and Paul on their wedding day back in this same spot next year!
