Meeting up with Ellie and Reed last fall was such a treat! We had a gorgeous autumn evening to show off their sweet relationship at Lincoln Memorial Gardens in Springfield, Illinois. I actually met this lovely couple about a year before when Reed’s brother, Tyler, married his now wife, Christi, and I captured it all. So it was fun to finally get to know this beautiful couple more as we wandered around the garden and found all the beautiful yellows and oranges of the season.

Ellie started off the session in an elegant wine colored dress, which complimented Reed’s neutral gray sweater. Her dress was perfect for plenty of twirls and dips around the tree lined grounds. This pair is so incredibly delightful and I enjoyed every second of our time together! Ellie is a teacher and Reed works for a local technology company. They both have kind hearts and spent the whole session with big smiles on their faces and snuggling as much as possible together as the chill of the fall came upon us when the sun began to set. We made sure to have plenty of time for an outfit change and switched up spots at the gardens. Ellie and Reed went for a more relaxed second outfit and we found a perfect spot for sunset. Before the sun dropped below the tree line, they grabbed a few more smooches and I grabbed a few more silhouettes! A perfect way to end their engagement session! I’m looking forward to being a part of Ellie and Reed’s big day!
