What a beautiful day Wesslyn and Coltyn had on a gorgeous fall day in Jacksonville, Illinois! Wesslyn and her ladies were in great spirits when I arrived in the morning while getting their hair and makeup done. Every time Wesslyn talks about Coltyn she gets a little smirk on her face which is adorable. She and her soon-to-be husband planned to have their nuptials at the lovely Annie Merner Chapel in Jacksonville. Both Wesslyn and Coltyn got ready at the chapel with their crew leading up to the ceremony. Wesslyn was absolutely stunning in her beaded gown! Her ladies were all in navy dresses and they held amazingly colorful bouquets. Coltyn looked very dapper in his grey suit complete with paisley grey tie. His gentlemen matched in grey suits as well with navy ties to complete their look.

The ceremony was filled with so much faith and scripture as these two were surrounded by their loved ones. Wesslyn and her dad made their way down the aisle where Coltyn saw his bride for the first time. They exchanged rings, vows, and made it official with a kiss! Congrats to Mr. & Mrs. Du Pre!

After the ceremony the whole bridal party headed out to the same family friend’s farm where I visited with Wesslyn and Coltyn for their engagement photos. The pretty white rustic barn was a beautiful backdrop for this fun-loving bridal party. There was lots of laughter with this group and it made this special day even better. Once bridal party photos were complete, I snuck the newlyweds to the back of the property where the pond and orange trees were ready for their close up with this couple. Wesslyn and Coltyn looked incredible with their newly married glow. Just these two making memories around the pond was wonderful! We finished up photos down the street from their reception venue on the Jacksonville Square. And although the weather was mild as far as temperature all day we didn’t see much of the sun. Well right before we ended portrait time the sun peeked out from behind the clouds and made an appearance.

The reception was at the lovely Hamilton’s Banquet Hall. The classy atmosphere of the room with lots of twinkly lights, tall arrangements with red and white flowers, and lots of navy accents. Wesslyn and Coltyn shared a few special dances like their first dance as well as the father/daughter dance and the mother/son dance. Their love was celebrated with a few toasts before they were ready to get the party started. The dance floor was hopping all evening and I’m so grateful I was able to be a part of this amazing day!
