Their love story began in 6th grade! Heather didn’t really know it then, but for Brandon it was practically love at first sight! She was a new student and he saw her in her yellow smiley face t-shirt and he was intrigued. He pursued her and wore her down and with how thoughtful and sweet Brandon is I could understand how Heather couldn’t resist having him in her life. They went through their ups and downs, but they were always constants in each other’s lives. Simply watching these two together you can easily see they are meant for one another! They love to laugh, embrace, and make each other happy. And their wedding day at Reality on Monroe in Bloomington was filled with emotions and lots of fun!

I met up with Heather and her girls in the morning and Heather was a tad nervous, but couldn’t be more ready to marry the man of her dreams! When it came time to get this bride dressed she was absolutely stunning in her lace gown with embellished roses. Beauty and the Beast has always been a theme in Heather and Brandon’s relationship as you can see from their engagement session! After I spent the morning with the ladies and getting Heather dressed in her gorgeous gown and complimentary shawl, this Beauty was ready to see her Beast (or Prince Charming if you will)! But, before Heather saw her soon-to-be husband, she decided to see her father first. This moment of the day was super special. Heather is an only child, so her dad had a mix of elation and sad emotions leading up to seeing Heather. As he knew he was giving his only daughter away to a wonderful man, but he was letting go of his little girl. These two shared so many lovely memories on this special day. And Brandon couldn’t be outdone when he saw Heather for the first time either. The tears started flowing and Brandon took in every details of his bride! I mean when I say I always have the best seat in the house for all of the most wonderful moments of any wedding day it’s the truth!

Portrait time with Heather, Brandon, and their beautiful bridal party was awesome! The temperature in November were mild and calm. The sun was shining and the fabulous fall colors were out and ready to add a little something to this couple’s photos! There was so much fun with Heather and Brandon’s crew that was made up of family and close friends. I adored every second with this group! And my time with this sweet couple was perfect! They are genuinely so happy when they are in each other’s arms!

Their ceremony at Reality on Monroe was truly delightful! The industrial venue was gorgeous and highlighted the touching moments Heather and Brandon shared as they spoke their personal vows, exchanged their rings, and sealed their marriage with a kiss! They were officially Mr. & Mrs. Caldwell! They celebrated surrounded by loved ones and danced into the night as husband and wife! I couldn’t be happier for the newlyweds and wish them all the blessings in the world!
