inquire about your session!
When you have a dream of opening a bakery of your own since you were a little girl, you should definitely include this in your senior photos! This is just what Glenwood High School senior Aryia did! Going through the planning process with Aryia to make her session uniquely her, she mentioned that ever since she was young she wanted to bake and start a business! As an entrepreneur myself, I absolutely LOVE this! A girl with a dream always warms my heart! And being able to make this happen for one of my LWP Senior Spokesmodels was such a pleasure! So I reached out to the first incredible bakery owner that popped into my mind, Emily Lewis, owner of Three Twigs Bakery, The Salted Lemon, and Biscuits & Brunch in Springfield, Illinois! Emily and her husband, have opened three successful businesses in a very short time (two during the height of a pandemic) was so gracious to allow us to have Aryia’s shoot at Three Twigs. She even made sure we had some yummy treats to use as props! Aryia was definitely in her element when we arrived at Three Twigs, commenting on how cute the bakery was as we began photos. The black and white vine mural including donuts, pop tarts, and other pastries was a highlight during Aryia’s session! Especially when Miss Aryia chose to wear an adorable black and white polka dot dress! This location really helped Aryia create some memorable senior photos, and hopefully some added motivation to follow her dreams! A HUGE Thank You to the Three Twigs crew for allowing us to come for a visit.
After the bakery, we headed to Lake Springfield and the Lindsay Bridge to finish up Aryia’s session before the rain that was in the forecast started. Aryia wanted to include another dream of her photos which was attending Ole Miss and show off her future school colors! So her jersey was a must on the docks of the lake! She then did a quick outfit change into a beautiful purple dress! She had told me she wanted to go somewhere and put her feet in the water! And even though the rain and overcast clouds were rolling in, Mother Nature gave us a little peek of the sun right at the end of Aryia’s session! That always makes me smile!
Warm Regards,
From one dream to another!
