Shelby and Connor’s late August wedding day was absolutely gorgeous from start to finish! The sun was shining, the weather was perfect, and their downtown Peoria celebration at Venue Chisca couldn’t have been a better fit. The space has such a great mix of charm and style, and it gave their day the perfect backdrop for all the joy and emotion that unfolded.

The day started off with so many sweet moments — one of my favorites being Shelby’s first look with her dad. There were definitely some big smiles and hugs they didn’t want to end. Then came the first look between Shelby and Connor, and it was full big smiles and all the “can’t believe this is finally happening” energy. These two were just glowing. After that, we headed over to Luthy Botanical Gardens for bridal party and couple photos. It’s such a beautiful spot in Peoria — full of colorful flowers, greenery, and little garden paths that make everything feel extra romantic. The bridal party totally brought the fun with their pastel dresses, bright florals, and high-energy vibes. We then took some time with Shelby and Connor allowing them a few quiet moments to taken one another in on their special day. These two share such a close bond working along side one another as nurses and now as husband and wife! Or…almost! Let’s get these two MARRIED!

The ceremony took place in Venue Chisca’s courtyard, surrounded by their favorite people. There were happy tears, lots of laughter, and so much love as Shelby and Connor shared their handwritten vows to each other. They exchanged rings and a kiss, officially became husband and wife. The rest of the night was one big celebration! Their first dance was the sweetest, and Connor’s dance with his mom turned into the best surprise — complete with high-energy moves that had everyone cheering. Once the dance floor opened, it stayed packed all night long. Such an amazing day for an amazing couple!
