Jocelyn and Mark’s wedding day kicked off on one of those classic Midwest summer days—bright, hot, and full of anticipation. The kind where the air feels electric and everything just feels exciting. Their first look took place right on the gorgeous property of Olive & Oak in Edwards, Illinois, and it was such a sweet, relaxed moment between the two of them. The space has a charming mix of rustic and modern vibes, and it felt like the perfect backdrop for this easygoing, joy-filled couple. Jocelyn and Mark were smiling nonstop (as were their people!) and were just so happy to be together. It honestly set the tone for the whole day.

After soaking in those early moments together, we all made our way to St. Jude Catholic Church in Peoria for their ceremony. The church is stunning, and their full Catholic Mass was such a beautiful and meaningful celebration of their love and faith. Once the “I dos” were sealed with a kiss, we headed back to Olive & Oak for some fun with the bridal party and portraits of the newlyweds. The venue, now under new ownership, has some seriously lovely spaces for photos—and Jocelyn and Mark made the most of every single one with their infectious energy and laughter.

Then came the party. And let me tell you—this crew, and their loved ones, did not hold back. From the moment the music started, the dance floor was packed. I mean, it was wall-to-wall dancing, laughing, and the kind of energy that just keeps you smiling behind the camera all night long. It was the perfect mix of sentimental, silly, and straight-up fun. We finished the night off with sparklers to send off this incredible couple. Jocelyn and Mark threw an unforgettable celebration, and I feel so lucky I got to be there to document every bit of it!
