We picked a hot one for Hannah and Don’s August engagement session, but these two were so excited it didn’t matter! It was a touch of nervous excitement, but they wanted to make sure for their engagement session we met at a spot that had a lot of meaning to them. The gazebo in Washington Park in Springfield, Illinois holds a special place in Hannah and Don’s hearts. They have a passion for country swing dancing and one day they decided to come out to the gazebo to practice some dancing together. Well in the middle of their dancing, when the timing felt right, Don got down on one knee and proposed to Hannah!!! Love this! So of course they had to incorporate their swing dancing into their photos! They starting playing some music and those two took off twirling and spinning around like crazy! It was amazing to watch and almost hard for me to keep up! I adore watching a couple doing something they love together.

We made a change in location and a change in outfits before continuing with photos with these cuties. Hannah and Don had a gorgeous sunset to celebrate their beautiful relationship filled with so much joy and happiness. They laughed a ton together, we threw in a piggyback ride, and of course ended with some dancing in Hannah’s adorable cowboy boots! Hannah and Don are such a lovely couple and I cannot wait to capture their wedding day this summer!
