Ever since I spent time with Morgan and Michael at their engagement session last fall, I have been anticipating their big day! You can tell from the moment you meet these two they are supposed to be together. They are joyful, look out for one another, and simply have a blast together. Plus one major thing they have in common…The love they have for their furbaby, Cooper! He not only joined us for his parent’s engagement session, but you could also find his adorable face throughout their wedding day like on their invitation and sweet treats at the reception, before he kicked off their nuptials with his own walk down the aisle! But, before Cooper’s big walk, I spent some time with this beautiful couple leading up to their “I Dos”.
Morgan and Michael held their ceremony and reception at the gorgeous The Rustic Venues in Girard, Illinois on a chilly October day. The bridal suite was bustling with Morgan and her ladies when I arrived. So much excitement surrounding this delightful bride on her special day! When it came time for Morgan to step into her gown she was absolutely stunning! The floral details and sparkle sprinkled about gave this bride the best part of her look…Her smile! And with the touches of dusty blues and navy in the bridesmaids dresses and flowers it was literal perfection all the way around! Michael and his guys absolutely brought the class dressed in navy suits, with Michael in a cream tie, while his groomsmen donned grey ones. Now that everyone glowed up, it was time for Morgan and Michael to see one another! However, before the bride and groom’s first look, it was only fair that Morgan’s dad, Matt, had his opportunity to see his daughter in her wedding dress. When I was getting Matt set up right before Morgan came out, he told me he was really nervous. So sweet! He took a deep breath before he turned to see Morgan and the emotions were all over his face! What a lovely moment! Next it was Michael’s turn. The smile on his face when he saw Morgan was priceless! These two shared a few quiet moments together and then it was on to bridal party photos!
Now this crew of friends and family surrounding Morgan and Michael all day were incredible! They were helpful, attentive, and absolutely brought the energy! Plus, they did it all in pretty chilly temperatures! They were more than I could have asked for! I then had some time with this awesome couple for some photos, which didn’t disappoint! We wandered around the beautiful venue using the barn doors, long porch, and even found the one tree on the property that had some stunning fall colors left! Every moment I spent with this couple made my heart happy! Now, let’s get these two married!
The nuptials were held in the barn on the property where the rustic charm continued. The beamed ceilings were draped with lights and a huge chandelier and church pews were set for guests to sit. The barn was filled with loved ones there to support Morgan and Michael as they began this new chapter in their lives. Cooper, the pup, lead the way for his mom to make her way down the aisle to Michael with her dad. And with a maiden name of “LOVE” as Morgan’s was, you know you are in for a sentimental ceremony! It was reveled by their officiant, who is a long time family friend of the Love’s, that they discovered that between both of their parents and grandparents, there is a combined number of 269 years of marriage! WOW! What an example for these newlyweds! Morgan and Michael exchanged rings and vows then sealed it all with a kiss! Congrats to the new Mr. & Mrs. Fiaush!
Before the party really kicked off, the bridal party headed over to the Seed House to celebrate the new married couple and for a few fun bar photos! Everyone was in high spirits, especially since it was warm inside! Then it was time to get the party started over at the reception hall with all of their guests! The reception space was decorated with lovely touches of florals in vintage vases, wooden accents, white pumpkins, and mums. The celebration of The Fiaushs brought many sweet moments in emotional toasts and memorable dances. Morgan and Michael WOW’ed their guests with a incredible choreographed dance as they spun and dipped around the floor. Morgan surprised her dad before their father/daughter dance with a video of the two of them dancing during a dance recital when she was little! Ummm…How adorable!?! Then Michael and his mom, Amy, took a spin around the dance floor with energetic dance moves getting the crowd ready to enjoy the night! But, before my time with this couple was over and even though it had sadly begun to rain so sunset photos weren’t going to happen, the newlyweds wanted to sneak out one more time to document this last part of the evening! Morgan said, “Well, this is what happened on our wedding day, right?” Plus, rain on your wedding day is good luck! So they went for it! We used the fantastic porch of the Seed House to keep these two out of the rain, but then threw in a few with an umbrella to really drive home the environment! Morgan and Michael have been a phenomenal couple to work with and I’m wishing them all the blessings in the world for their marriage! Cheers to The Fiaushs!
