Brooke and Jason’s gorgeous summer wedding at The Homestead in Tallula, Illinois was the perfect combination of rustic charm and classy style! Throughout the day, the touches of blues and white could be found in the venue’s barn and reception hall making up a delightful view. And for this beautiful couple, they couldn’t have been more ready to tie the knot! Brooke and her ladies were enjoying the morning in a laid back fashion while getting their hair and makeup done. Between laughing about past memories and playing cards, these girlies were doing it right! When it came time for Brooke to put on her gown it was such a special moment. Her mom and grandmother helped her to make sure every fabric was perfect followed by her bridesmaids, dressed in dusty blue gowns, took care of the final touches. Brooke was absolutely stunning in her lace bodice dress with a simple skirt! Jason couldn’t be totally outdone by his bride and along with his groomsmen donned gray suits with matching blue ties and finished off with lovely white boutonnieres. Brooke and Jason decided not to see one another before the ceremony so after a few photos of their crews separately, it was time to get these two hitched!
The nuptials were outside under an arbor draped in white florals and an abundance of sunshine. Jason waited patiently as his bride finally made her appearance at the end of the aisle with her grandfather. Jason did his best to fight back tears as Brooke got closer and he couldn’t take his eyes off her throughout the whole ceremony. You can tell these two have a very strong bond and love for one another. Brooke and Jason exchanged rings, said their meaningful vows, and sealed it all with a kiss! Cheers to the new Mr. & Mrs. Woodworth! Following the ceremony and family photos, it was time for the full bridal party to get together for their close-up! The combination of blue, gray, and the white from the florals was fantastic! And having the newlyweds and all of their closest friends together was pure joy! Once bridal party photos were completed, I stole the couple for a little while longer for some “just married” photos. Brooke and Jason couldn’t get enough of this special time with one another especially now with their new titles of husband and wife. And before we knew it, the time had come to rejoin all their loved ones and get the party started!
The reception was filled with tons of energy, admiration, and light-hearted fun! The Woodworths even entered to the party with their own custom handshake to start the evening! Between the sweet first dance, the wonderful toasts, and the overwhelming feeling of joy made the rest of the evening such a blast! But before the sun could drop below the horizon, I snuck the newlyweds back outside for some sunset photos. The glowy light from the sun, the tall wispy tall grasses, and this awesome couple made for some of my favorite photos from the day! I’m thrilled for Brooke and Jason to begin this new chapter in their lives together. I’m wishing them many blessing in their marriage!
