Kassondra and Zac’s wedding day at the Wildlife Prairie Park was nothing short of a fairytale! A Cinderella inspired fairytale that is! See when Kassondra was little, she went to Disney and was kissed on the cheek by her favorite princess, Cinderella. She told her mom she was never washing her cheek again! So needless to say, the lovely vision for Kassondra and Zac’s big day was nothing short of magical! From the light blue touches, the sparkling tiara set on top of the bride’s head, and how the prince walked away from the day with his gorgeous princess I absolutely loved capturing every special moment!
Kassondra and Zac started out the morning unconventionally and decided to see one another bright and early before they were even out of their jammies. They read their vows to one another prior to the whirlwind of the day getting going, which I think helped alleviate some of the nerves. They each took a turn sharing their heartfelt vows, talked about the qualities they love about the other, as well as reminiscing on when Kassondra told a friend in high school she was going to marry Zac after seeing him walking into a classroom for the first time. Love this! After preparations for Kassondra’s crew of hair and makeup was complete, everyone helped this bride into her delightful gown! Kassondra was truly stunning and sparked throughout the day when the sunlight caught her dress just right. Zac and his guys couldn’t be outdone too much and looked fantastic in their gray suits and blue ties. Such a classic look. Now it was time for a traditional first look with the bride and groom. And the smile that came up on Zac’s face after seeing Kassondra, I would say was a highlight of the day!
The bridal party was so full of energy and fun that I almost forgot it was super hot outside! Kassondra and Zac’s crew were made up of family and friends, including another LWP Bride, Kassondra’s sister, Brittney. I took a few extra minutes for some photos of the lovely couple before whisking them off to hide prior to the ceremony. And before we knew it, the ceremony was upon us! The outdoor ceremony was set up overlooking a huge pasture with Bison and Elk roaming around. Such an awesome scene! The nuptials began with special sight of the honorary ring bearer and flower girl walking down the aisle (aka Kassondra’s grandparents). It was the sweetest thing watching her grandfather walk the rings down the aisle followed by her grandmother throwing petals from her basket. Absolutely adorable! Then the bride made her way up the aisle with her father towards her awaiting groom. These two shared their vows, exchanged rings, and made it official with a kiss! The new Mr. & Mrs. Simon!
Once they were pronounced husband and wife, the party definitely got started! With some charming dances, hilarious toasts, and a bride and groom who were ready to cut a rug on the dance floor this reception was an amazing one! And with Kassondra being an ultra Swiftie (in other terms…a huge Taylor Swift fan), you can guess what a lot of the music was throughout the evening. Before I left for the night, I did steal the newlyweds for a few more photos at sunset. They walked hand in hand, did a few twirls, and dips just to complete the dazzling day! Cheers to The Simons!
