Abby and Francisco live up in the Chicago area and although they love their city, they wanted their engagement session to have more of a nature feel. So we decided to meet up at the Funks Grove Nature Preserve in Bloomington, Illinois. Abby and Francisco are just the sweetest couple and I was so excited to meet them in person. Abby brought the cutest hat to play with for their first relaxed outfit look. These two are so laid back and from the moment we start shooting they were laughing together and up for anything. Francisco is a romantic and chose to propose to Abby during the Christmas season in front of a huge glistening tree in Chicago. He even invited family and friends to be part of the surprise. Love it!

After a quick outfit change, Abby and Francisco looked fabulous as they dressed up for sunset! The fall leaves and the golden glow were the perfect backdrop for lots of snuggles and kisses. Abby’s dusty blue dress popped against the autumn colors as did her gorgeous pear-shaped ring! And to finish up our time together, Abby and Francisco wanted to celebrate their engagement with a little bubbly! They popped a bottle of champagne and shared this fun memory together. I can’t wait to capture their wedding day this fall!
