I am a wedding and portrait photographer who keeps things light, fun, and full of energy. I’m based out of Springfield, Illinois however I love traveling all over the midwest and beyond.
inquire about your session!
Third time was the charm getting Bre and Kevin together with me for their engagement photos. After having to reschedule their session twice due to rain and muddy conditions we set up our third attempt and crossed our fingers! And although there was a heat advisory in place with temps feeling like 105 degrees the night of our session we completely lucked out with a gentle breeze most of the night! I met up with Bre and Kevin at Lewis Memorial Acres where we could get the tall grasses and pretty summer country look this bride was wanting. As soon as I saw these two they were all smiles and so excited for photos! They are both incredibly sweet, funny, and ready to have a good time. Watching these two snuggling up for photos was so awesome because you can see how much love they have for each other! We took our time wandering around the grasses and showing off this well dressed pair and playing up Bre’s signature hat! LOVE!
To finish up with photos, we headed over to Centennial Park a little before sunset. Bre told me she wanted to get their “Formal” outfit out of the way first then go with a much more relaxed look including Kevin’s signature baseball hat! Jeans, white shirts, and sunset for the win! Oh and I cannot forget the 3 very special guests who came for their close ups! Bre and Kevin’s pups, Abner, Piper, & Skylar! They warned me this could get crazy with 13 year old Abner and his much younger puppy sisters, but once we got them all settled next to mom and dad my crazy sounds got their attention and they did amazing! I will take all the puppy love anytime I can get it! Once the pups were done and the sun was just above the tree line, I finished up with this playful couple capturing some of my favorites! I cannot wait for their winter wedding next year and going on this journey to the altar with them!
Warm Regards,
