Finally meeting Erin and Brandon at their engagement session was such a treat! Erin and I have been talking for awhile about their big day coming up this fall, but we had never officially met in person! This wonderful couple chose to have their e-session at her aunt and uncle’s house, which has been in their family for generations! It was a lovely, yet a bit toasty, July evening. But the property was just like a secret garden! Her aunt is an amazing gardener and there were incredible flowers everywhere giving us some perfect pops of color! Which leads me to Erin looking gorgeous in her fantastic colorful skirt! Come on…How fun is that skirt?! Erin and Brandon were real troopers snuggling up close in the crazy humid heat, yet I don’t think they minded too much! We found so many delightful spots around the property including a tree swing, an old smoking shed covered in vines, and so many of phenomenal flowers, including Erin’s favorites, Dahlias!

After a quick outfit change, we finished up on the old country road as the sun peeked out a bit. Again, Erin looked beautiful in a mustard yellow dress and Brandon had a sport jacket on to dress it all up a tad to finish up their photos! We all joked and laughed having a wonderful evening getting to know one another! These two met while in high school and dated during that time. Then as life takes people in different directions, they spent a few years apart. However, about three years ago they reconnected and the rest, as they say, is history! Erin and Brandon are getting married in the fall at the location where they got engaged…Lincoln Memorial Gardens! And I can’t wait to capture it all!
