Ever since I first started chatting with Courtney about her wedding with Bryce, I knew she was the epitome of an LWP Bride! She’s been eager from the start to talk details about not only their big day, but also how to make their engagement session amazing! I have loved planning out everything with her and I finally had the chance to meet Courtney and Bryce on a brisk May evening! This adorable couple is planning a rustic, country wedding this fall and they wanted their e-session photos to bring that vibe as well! It took some time to find the perfect location this bride had in mind for her photos, but when she knew…She knew! Courtney told me there was this property she drove by all the time with several white buildings and an amazing barn! She was invested from the beginning and did some investigating to find out the details of who owned the property. After some conversations back and forth with the owner, Courtney was granted permission for us to shoot their engagement photos there! And man, is it a gorgeous place!

We wandered the property as I got to learn more about Courtney, the dental hygienist, and Bryce, the farmer. These two are high school sweethearts and have been dating for seven years, which I always think is incredible! We had been worried about the high winds that were predicted throughout the day, however they were supposed to stop right around our session time. Courtney dealt with the wind like a champ and we used it to our advantage for some “Beyonce” moments! Bryce wasn’t too sure about the fuss and all the photos, but when we got going and he became comfortable I think he enjoyed the extra snuggles and kisses he got to have with Courtney. Especially when she changed into a beautiful wine colored flowy dress before sunset! She was freezing!!! Yet, she toughed it out and luckily for us the wind died down right at sunset! It was so fun to capture all of the love Courtney and Bryce share together! I cannot wait to be a part of their big day!
