It’s hard to know where to start with 2020. We all know what a struggle it was for everyone. Especially for couples who were planning a wedding in what was going to be this incredible year. The year didn’t go how any of us expected, however I still wanted to celebrate the LWP Couples who had the opportunity and who were fortunate enough to move forward with their nuptials.

In 2020, I had the honor of photographing twelve amazing couples on their big day. Although, it wasn’t the normal amount of wedding days over the year, each and every wedding day felt that much more special because it felt like a rare event. Most of the weddings were way smaller than my couples had anticipated with state restrictions, yet the trend of smaller seemed to refocus the meaning of the day. And every single couple really felt the love from family and friends who were able to attend or even celebrated in spirit over Zoom or Facebook Live. Either way, the support for each marriage happening during a global pandemic was unending!

Every one of my couples has a special meaning to me even without the craziness of Covid-19. But, my gratefulness to the twelve couples who allowed me to continue to photograph their memorable moments this year is so deep. And to my many couples who were supposed to tie the knot in 2020, I am incredibly humbled and excited to be a part of your day in 2021!
