I met Erin and Jack for the first time on a gorgeous fall evening in Springfield, Illinois at the lovely Lincoln Park. These two just recently booked their October 2021 wedding with me as they snuck into one of the last available dates I had open during the busiest months on my calendar! And I’m thrilled to be able to work with them! Erin and Jack have been together since high school in Taylorville! And every time I meet a pair of high school sweethearts it gives me a warm and fuzzy feeling inside! I adore that type of story and you can instantly see why Erin and Jack fit so well together.

Jack doesn’t have to do much to get Erin to giggling! Just a smirk will do it really! As we wandered around the beautiful bridge at the park the sun was peeking through the trees giving us an amazing glow. Erin and Jack picked the perfect fall day as we had a “heat wave” in Illinois and enjoyed temps in the 70s! I’ll take that any day for sure! Once we were done at Lincoln Park we headed over to another incredible spot to finish up during golden hour.

The tall grasses and pops of orange became a fantastic backdrop for this wonderful couple. Erin and Jack loved snuggling in close throughout their entire session and were definitely meant to be together. After capturing them with a phenomenal sunset behind them I received the best compliment from Jack! He said he doesn’t normally like photos, but he actually enjoyed himself! YES! WINNING! I’m so glad Jack and Erin had an awesome experience! I know I loved my time with them! I cannot wait to be a part of their big day!
