If you could wrap fall up in a present and hand it to me I think it would be Mackenzie and Bryce’s engagement session! First of all, these two are just the sweetest and so laid back making my job WAY easy! Then they had the perfect coordinating outfits chosen that just screamed autumn. And finally, they both love this season and wanted to celebrate it as much as possible! So that’s what we did!

Mackenzie and Bryce have been together for five years and have loved every minute! When Bryce proposed it was while they were on a hike looking for a local waterfall. The hike took them on a longer trip than they anticipated and they ended up walking for so long and never finding the sought-after waterfall. But that didn’t stop Bryce from asking Mackenzie the biggest question of both of their lives! And she said, “YES!” So sweet!

For their e-session, we started at Washington Park in Springfield where the fall leaves were in full “POP” mode. The weather totally cooperated with beautiful sunshine and mild temps. Mackenzie loves her hats and sported a couple of amazing ones with her outfits! They were up for anything and we had fun wandering around the park and playing in the leaves!

We finished up over at the wonderful Lewis Memorial Park, which has easily turned into one of my favorite spots! The tall grasses and wooded area was the perfect backdrop for Mackenzie and Bryce to laugh and snuggle in tight. We ended our time together as the sun set with my…AND Mackenzie’s favorite part…Silhouettes! She brought up silhouettes a few times and so I know she’s my kinda girl! She even brought a surprise to try to make their silhouettes even more magical! Lights! It was fun to give these a try to add to the beauty of the moment!

Congrats to Mackenzie and Bryce on their engagement and I cannot wait to be a part of their big day next year!
