You don’t hear too many love stories these days where high school sweethearts get married. But you will with Izzy and Tyler! These two met in the middle of high school and have been inseparable since. And if you missed the way Tyler popped the question, you can head on over to their engagement session blog for the full story! It’s a pretty good one! This past weekend, Izzy and Tyler took the next step in their relationship and became husband and wife in Springfield, Illinois! Their day was filled with so many beautiful colors like wine and navy, an incredible amount of love and emotions from family and friends, and a ton of laughter and joy!

Izzy looked absolutely AMAZING as she put on her gorgeous lace gown! The lovely illusion back was impeccable with buttons all the way up to her neck. Her mom, Lori, took her time making sure each button was perfect as she held back tears. Once Izzy was dressed, she gave her dad as well as her bridesmaids the opportunity to have a first look! Both were so sweet and a few happy tears were shed all over! Her bridesmaids were in mixed style dresses (which I totally adore the look of) in their signature wine color. Tyler and his groomsmen had some pretty great style on wedding day as well! Navy suits with wine-colored ties and Tyler was set apart with a gray herringbone vest. The bridal party brought their A-game and highlighted their couple so well!

The wedding ceremony was held at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Springfield. The church was the perfect backdrop for this couple to see one another for the first time as Izzy made her way down the aisle with her dad to Tyler! There weren’t too many dry eyes in the pews as the bride and groom came together at the altar. The ceremony was short and sweet as the couple pledged their vows to one another and exchanged rings. A kiss sealed the deal and with fists raised in the air, the new Mr. and Mrs. Derosear exited the church!

Following the ceremony, the entire bridal party headed over to Washington Park for photos! This group was full of energy and ready to celebrate the newlyweds! Izzy and Tyler had an absolutely beautiful early fall day with temps in the 70’s and not a cloud in the sunny sky! Finally, we were getting photos with Izzy and Tyler together was so fun! They are beautiful together and the love you feel between them is palpable. We made a quick trip over to the Horace Mann building downtown for a few more photos of the couple before heading to their reception.

The reception hall was delightfully decorated with modern gold lanterns as centerpieces, eucalyptus, and small boxes for each guest to take home with a yummy treat. The couple chose to share their favorite sweet treat of ice cream with guests in lieu of cake and it was served from behind an adorable ice cream cart! Before the events of the evening began, I was able to steal the couple for a few more sunset photos as the sky gave us some pretty pink and orange colors. And while the guests enjoyed some energetic dancing Izzy and Tyler snuck away for a few sparkler photos before ending the evening!
