By the time I finally had the opportunity to get together with Stephanie and Kyle it had been just about a year since I first sat down with Stephanie for a wedding consultation in Peoria, Illinois. Kyle was deployed overseas with our US Air Force (Thank You for your service, Kyle) at that time. Then as he returned home and it started getting warmer out we began looking for engagement session dates. Then Covid-19 hit! So with the State of Illinois shut down we had to rethink and reschedule our plans. Once we started opening back up then we had to make sure they could get in for hair cuts and color as well as the location of Luthy Botanical Gardens they wanted was open. Plus with Stephanie getting back to work as a fitness instructor her schedule was now different. But, we finally made it happen and it was such a pleasure!

Stephanie and Kyle are adorable together and Kyle is constantly trying to make Stephanie laugh. Which he succeeds at pretty regularly! We met up at the botanical gardens a little earlier than normal as we realized the gardens closed and we needed to give ourselves time there. Although the heat was definitely a factor, it didn’t stop Stephanie and Kyle from snuggling in close. Kyle picked another hot spot in the desert where he proposed to Stephanie earlier in 2019 when they were on a hike! They made it to the top of the rock range they were shooting for and when they were celebrating that victory, Kyle asked Stephanie to be his wife! So sweet! And these two were ready to have some fun during their e-session too! They are just full of so much joyful energy!

We finished up over by the riverfront, where the breeze definitely helped us end the session on a high note, less HOT note! Stephanie and Kyle had already changed and she brought an adorable summer hat for photos! I loved playing around with these two and Stephanie’s cute hat! They are made for one another and being allowed to witness their playful relationship was a blast! I’m thrilled to be a part of their big day next year! Congrats Stephanie and Kyle!
