Although we are still in the midst of a global pandemic with Covid-19, love continues. And definitely needs to be documented! Kaitlyn and Chris were my first session back after the Illinois Stay at Home mandate was relaxed a bit allowing photographers to get back to work for outdoor sessions. Since the pair is incredibly laid back and were up for anything it made working with them super fun and easy!

Going into Kaitlyn and Chris’ e-session, it had been a cloudy, overcast day. However, just as we arrived at the wildlife sanctuary in central Illinois the sun began slowly peaking out from behind the clouds! YAY! Kaitlyn looked beautiful in her flowing purple paisley dress and Chris complimented her well with his crisp white button-down shirt and jeans. Perfect for the country setting we were visiting! These two have been together for 5 years and it didn’t take long for their lovely relationship to be on show. As we wandered around the fantastic landscape, Kaitlyn and Chris took as many opportunities to snuggle up and giggle together as they could.

After a quick outfit change for Kaitlyn to another delightful dress, we moved around the sanctuary capturing photo after photo that I fell in love with more than the one before! Which I totally didn’t think was possible! Everything for this couple’s session fell perfectly into place and I’m so thankful to finally have the chance to get to know them better! I’m excited to be a part of their love story!
