Here I go…I’m still talking about wedding colors! Can’t you tell I love this topic? I’ve always been a girl who ADORES pops of color on wedding day! A few days ago I shared some of my favorite wedding colors from my super amazing LWP Couples. I’m hoping it got you brainstorming if your a bride struggling to discover your wedding vision color scheme. Today I thought it would be fun to see what some of the leading wedding websites are thinking will be the top color trends for 2020! Let the experts in all things weddings and style educate us on what’s new with the wedding scene! Are you with me?!
Classic Blue (Pantone Color of 2020)
I figured we would start with the Pantone color of 2020, Classic Blue! There are so many variations you can do with blue the possibilities are endless. From navy to light and even dusty blue, I have to admit I’m kinda loving the whirlwind of ideas!
Cinnamon Rose
If you like pink, but you don’t want to go full out blush pink I think this cinnamon color is extremely stylish and elegant. I love the mixing of the rose and cinnamon tones (and the fabrics) of the bridesmaids dresses below!
Emerald
As I talked about the other day, Emerald has quickly become one of my favorites! So many options for this color and you can make it your own. I’m even sharing a light version of green if you like a more muted look.
Terracotta
Terracotta is such a new and exciting idea! One of my 2019 brides used terracotta and mixed it with turquoise, fuchsia, and a bold blue and it was AHHH-MAZING! Or you could keep it more earthy like they are showing below!
Light Gray
Light grays are the perfect neutral to experiment with for your big day! You could keep it lighter or go more moody. Either way it’s gorgeous!
Mellow Yellow/ Mustard
Do you want to go bold? There’s always Mellow Yellow or Mustard! I don’t think this color is for everyone, but if you have always been drawn to this cheerful color, why not go for it!
Mint
Mint is a color you have the freedom to play with! It can be as earthy and muted as you would like. Or use it to make a statement for your wedding! Just depends what you pair it up with!
Light Coral
I think coral can bring out a beautiful summer vibe. It doesn’t have to be an exclusive “summer color”, however. Mix and match to find your perfect combination!
Sage
Greenery sprinkled throughout a wedding day has been a big trend over the last few years. Why not play that up and go with Sage Green as your main color? Then pick a direction for your pop of color and your off!
Mauve
This light shade of purple I think could make a statement! I’m not usually a “purple” person, but I think done right it can be incredible!
There you have it! A FANTASTIC way to kick off your wedding planning! Choose your favorite color and away you go! Let me know what you think about all these amazing ideas too! Leave a comment below with your favorite and we can see which color comes out on top!
