Could you imagine meeting the love of your life when you were in high school? Well, this is exactly how Izzy and Tyler’s love story began! These two were teenagers when they met and started dating and now they are engaged and planning a wedding for the fall of 2020. I have heard some pretty good proposal stories before, but I think Tyler may win the prize for most creative. These two were in Colorado on vacation together and decided to get a better view of the gorgeous landscape of the state by going…Sky Diving!! Izzy and Tyler jumped from a perfectly good plane and upon landing safely Izzy found Tyler down on one knee with the most perfect ring in hand asking her to be his wife! I mean come on! INCREDIBLE, RIGHT?!

Then fast forward a few months later and they were back in Springfield, Illinois for their engagement photos to celebrating their seven-year relationship! We started in the Washington Park area where the trees were showing off their fall colors exactly the way we had all been hoping for! Izzy and Tyler are playful and loved taking advantage of every moment snuggled in each other’s arms. They even took some time to play in the leaves, which couldn’t have been more hilarious! Izzy and Tyler then made a quick outfit change and we moved locations before capturing more of their fun-loving personalities! Can we talk about that pink low back sweater she wore! Ah-Mazing! It was the perfect pop of color! We finished their e-session at Centennial Park in Springfield where we arrived with fingers crossed the sun would make an appearance. Unfortunately for Izzy and Tyler’s session, the sun was hiding behind overcast skies the whole time. But, I told them sometimes if we are patient we can get lucky. So we kept moving in one of my favorites spots around town with the couple all wrapped up in a cozy blanket among the tall grasses. These two are adorable, am I right?! And wouldn’t you know it…Mother Nature rewarded us for our patience! The most beautiful pink and orange sky emerged as the sun was going down! YEEESSS! The three of us were like kids in a candy store running around doing “All the poses” to get this awesome sunset in their photos. The silhouettes from their session are just awe-inspiring and to add to the fun they popped the bubbly on some champagne to celebrate! What a way to end our time together! I had an absolute blast with these two and I’m thrilled to go on this journey with them to their wedding day!
