If you are looking for a bride with a colorful personality, Rachel is your girl! This blonde bombshell is up for any fun that comes her way and wants everyone she surrounds herself with to be ready for the party too! This is why she and now husband, Nathan included bright jewel tones in their wedding day and threw one heck of a party last weekend in Springfield, Illinois. Rachel and Nate’s fall wedding day was wonderfully warm and pleasant. And when I saw Rachel for the first time as she was getting her hair and makeup done surrounded by her lovely ladies she was already feeling amazing on her big day! I’m a sucker for pops of color so seeing the jewel-toned goodness Rachel’s bridesmaids were wearing I was so excited! Then once Rachel stepped into her own goregous gown I was done! She made a stunning bride! Her beaded bodice with cap-sleeves and lace details in the skirt were magical. She even did a sweet reveal of her look to her bridesmaids, which was so cute to see their reactions.
Nate and the guys were keeping it relaxed in the morning of this special day at the beautiful St. Joesph’s Church in Springfield. Rachel’s adorable son, Cooper was enjoying hanging with the guys and even received a special gift from Nate! Cooper is a HUGE Avengers fan and so matching Avengers cufflinks were definitely a necessity for the guys look! Nate in his light gray suit and dark tie was looking very dapper surrounded by his groomsmen made up of family and best friends.
Before we all knew it the ceremony time was upon us! The piano music lead the bridal party into the church followed by the flower girl, Milana, and Cooper, who carried a sign paying homage to Nate’s love for Notre Dame Football saying, “Marry Like A Champion Today”! So cute! Then the beaming bride made her way down to the man of her dreams. Nate awaited his bride and simply could not take his eyes off of her! And Cooper had a front row seat to watch his mom marry her best friend! The ceremony included readings from the bible, vows spoken with deep meaningful words, and a homily from the priest sharing the couple’s playful relationship he observed during their pre-marital classes. Rachel may be slightly competitive in nature, yet she and Nate both came out winners as they were pronounced husband and wife!
Following the
Rachel and Nate’s reception was held at the awesome Artisans Building on the State Fairgrounds. Remember how I said Rachel and Nate were ready to throw an huge party?! They definitely did not mess around with getting to the dancing part of the evening! After a few dances, dinner, and toasts Rachel took the microphone to share about the bracelets their guests could find on their tables. These bracelets light up to the music to add even more fun to the evening! Once the dance floor was open it was full all night!
