I recently met sweet Brittany and Eric at the gorgeous Ewing Manor in Bloomington, Illinois on an overcast fall day for their engagement session. They were dressed to impress as Brittany had an adorable short white dress on with some killer heels and Eric was in a light blue suit and a purple striped tie. These two were ready to make some memories at this amazing location. As we wandered around the grounds I found out more about this lovely pair and how their relationship began! They have actually known each other for a very long time. They met through their church back when Eric was in high school and Brittany was in junior high. Then slowly their friendship grew into love. Brittany is currently in school at Illinois Wesleyan University studying music and Eric is an engineer for a local technology company. These two have a really good time together and it was so fun to get to know them more. Brittany and Eric were up for anything as we discovered all the nooks and crannies of this incredible castle-like location. We even had the perfect addition to our time together…The Sun! The sun finally peeked out from behind the clouds, which simply brought more magic to this beautiful couple’s photos.

On top of capturing Brittany and Eric with this beautiful backdrop of the Manor, Eric brought his prized apple red convertible for a few photos. It was wonderful to add this delightful prop, if you will, into their session. The adorable couple had a quick outfit change before heading back to the Manor to finish up! Brittany looked fantastic in her brown suede dress and maroon earrings to match Eric’s sweater and dark jeans! It was the perfect fall look! We made our way to the back of the Manor where the sun was gleaming through the trees and we took full advantage. These two played up the fun factor as we neared the end of our time together and their true giggly selves came out along with the stunning golden light! I’m so excited to be a part of their summer 2020 wedding day!
