My job is special with each and every one of my couples. Yet, when I get to work with a family for more than one wedding celebration I feel pretty grateful! Staci, one of my newest LWP Brides recently joined her sister, Stefani (who got married almost two years ago) in my bride tribe! And I couldn’t be more thrilled to be working with Staci and her sweet fiancé, Kelbey on their journey towards marriage!

Staci and Kelbey asked me to join them in the spot where they first met…Clinton Junior High School in Clinton, Illinois! They are both teachers, Staci teaching 7th grade English and Kelbey teaching 8th grade social studies. And you can see instantly why they are such a good match. They are both thoughtful, kind, light-hearted, and excited about their future together. I had a wonderful time in Staci’s classroom where she was teaching Kelbey all about the wedding day to ensure he passed all her tests! So cute! We then headed out to one of their other favorite spots, Weldon Springs State Park! Upon arriving at the park we headed straight for the calm lake before wandering around the beautiful landscape. Staci and Kelbey didn’t take long to become comfortable in front of my camera and that’s when the magic began!

After the park we took a short drive to the outskirts of town, to Staci and Kelbey’s home. Kelbey’s grandfather started a farm years ago and generations of farming cut out the surrounding areas of their house, which was also his grandparents. Staci and Kelbey moved in a short time ago and have a lovely piece of land to start their married life. Kelbey even brought out his grandfather’s vintage John Deere Tractor for a few photos.

I enjoyed every second with Staci and Kelbey during their e-session as we captured their relationship from where it started to where they have settled down together. I’m so thankful they thought of me to be a part of their big day next summer!
