From the moment I met Miss Anushka I knew she was a dreamer, an ambitious go-getter, and kind soul! This Glenwood High School Class of 2020 senior, is involved in so many different clubs and activities through school and beyond and adores living life to the fullest. She loves all things theater, singing, and makeup. She is a team captain this year for the Glenwood Tennis team and she is currently working for a local restaurant. She definitely enjoys staying busy and meeting new people. During our first Lauren Westrich Photography Team session (Yes, Anushka is an incredible spokesmodel for my business) she was the senior to initiate the idea of everyone going out for ice cream afterward! She was all about including everyone in the fun and I loved that about her!

For her own individual session, Anushka wanted a cool downtown vibe so we started in Springfield where we found a few urban and fresh locations to show off this eclectic senior! She brought along a few fun additions to play with during her session including bubbles, which we used right off the bat! Anushka was up for anything and everything making my time with her so enjoyable. And doesn’t she look adorable in her little jean overall dress and Converse kicks?! I thought so too! She then changed into an adorable orange top and jeans which added to her already vibrant personality! The sun even came out for a bit on this overcast day. After wandering about the downtown area, we headed out to Lincoln Memorial Gardens as we were racing a bit against some rain, which had been popping up here and there all afternoon. Moments after we arrived at the gardens, the skies opened upon us! Luckily for us, we took this time for her to change into her final look, which was a beautiful black maxi dress, movie star sunglasses, and her signature red lipstick! By the time she applied her last swipe of lipstick the rain stopped and we were able to finish up photos. And these were to most fun! Anushka brought smoke bombs too for us to incorporate into her photos and boy, were they a blast! It took some trial and error attempts to figure out how many we needed to get the look we wanted, but once we landed on the right number it was magic! I love how these came out with Anushka in her statement black dress made this look perfect! We completed our time together down by the lake for a few sunset photos when the sun peeked back out and graced us with some lovely colors in the sky to end the day! And what better way to end a senior session then with sparklers!!! Anushka thought of it all and we grabbed a few shimmering shots to finish her session!
