Right off the bat, sweet Reese couldn’t contain her smiles! Before I even had my camera out and ready to go she was shooting me a few smirks. Figures, right?! She was simply content to be snoozing and enjoying her dreams! This is the second newborn session in Springfield, Illinois I have photographed for the adorable Wickenhauser Family starting with Reese’s big brother, Drew’s almost two years ago! And now they have welcomed their lovely Reese into their crew. We went from a couple of different ensembles for Reese including a mint tutu, a beautiful floral number, and a continuation with the mint theme with a pretty wrap and matching bow. All the while Reese slept the afternoon away. We even made time for Drew and his parents, Sarah and Steve, to take turns with their new addition. You can tell Drew is warming up to the idea of having a little sister. However, at this point, he still requires a bit of encouragement with a fruit snack bribe in exchange for a kiss. So stinking cute! My time with this wonderful family seemed to go by so quickly and I believe it was is due to Miss Reese sleeping away the day!
