I had the opportunity to meet Alex out at his home in Loami, Illinois on a beautiful fall evening. His mom, Michelle contacted me for his session this fall after she was my daughter, Harper’s preschool teacher last year! I was excited to see her again and meet her oldest. Alex is a Class of 2019 New Berlin High School senior, who is excited for what the future brings. There were so many wonderful little spots out on their family property including a pond, rustic fence, and hundred-year-old trees. But, I think the most energetic person at their home, which Alex wanted photos with was not even a person! It was his chocolate lab, Jessie! Alex and Jessie have a ton of fun together you can tell! From running the grounds to swimming in the pond to going for rides in Alex’s beloved truck. They have a blast! After wandering around with Alex and capturing some of his favorite spots at his home, we headed over to his next favorite piece of turf…The football field! Alex completed his career as a New Berlin Pretzel on the football team as a defensive tackle. Number 71 had a great season, which may have ended sooner than desired yet the memories will last forever! Alex is still making decisions about his life after high school and visiting many different colleges in the meantime. He told me he is leaning towards a possible path in criminal justice. Whichever direction he chooses to go, I wish Alex the best and I’m thankful I was able to capture these special moments for him and his family!
