inquire about your session!
Maternity sessions are some of my favorite sessions to photograph! There is so much joy surrounding this little baby, who you’ve never met, but you are bursting with excitement to see for the first time! Alyssa and Brian, the soon to be parents, were ready to go when I met them for their maternity session. We were blessed with a beautiful fall evening in Springfield, Illinois, which felt a little more like summertime with the warm temperatures in the 80’s. Yet, after a rainout on the first date we scheduled, we were all totally fine with a little heat and sunshine! We began our time together at a vintage white barn where the sun was peeking out perfectly highlighting Alyssa and Brian…and that wonderful baby bump! Alyssa was glowing in her gray dress and an American flag kimono. I think Brian thought so too as he loved snuggling in close to his wife and her bump. Alyssa and Brian are having a baby boy and they have chosen the name, Witten, since they are big Dallas Cowboys fans. Now, as a Philadelphia Eagles fan myself, it was a bit rough hearing they were Cowboys fans. And I think they felt the same way when they saw the Eagles sticker on my car. However, we all pushed through! Jokes aside, I had such a lovely time with this incredible couple!
Our last stop in town was out at Centennial Park for sunset! Alyssa had a quick outfit change into a stunning red long dress, which showed off her baby bump in the best way! She was amazing! We captured some fun moments with the pair celebrating their last few weeks before they become a family of 3! And when it was time for the sun to set we simply had to get a few silhouette shots with Alyssa and Brian together to catch the beauty of their love for one another and their son. I’m looking forward to meeting Witten when he makes his appearance into the world!
Warm Regards,
Lauren
