Michelle is a Class of 2019 senior at Glenwood High School in Chatham, Illinois. She is just lovely and I very much enjoyed my time with her during her senior session last week as we wandered around downtown Springfield, IL. I was excited to be able to photograph Michelle’s senior photos after I worked with her sister, Elizabeth a few years back for her own senior pictures. We began with Michelle at the Old Train Station where she looked beautiful in her pink floral dress against the green doors and brick facade of the station building. After the train station, we head right down the street to the awesome Horace Mann gardens that surround the fantastic building. Michelle had a quick outfit change to a vivid yellow top, which was a brilliant contrast in the gardens. Michelle has a bubbly and adventurous personality, which you can tell brightens the world of the people around her. This fact was completely apparent during her session when she talked about how excited she was about her final year in high school and how she thought she would try something new and go out for the tennis team! Good Luck at tryouts, Michelle! She is still keeping her options open as she looks at colleges that would fit her best after she graduates. But, I have no doubt she will find something that is exactly what she wants! We made one more stop and did two outfit changes with Michelle at Washington Park as we tried to capture as much of this gorgeous senior before the sun went down! Michelle seriously has the most luxurious long hair and we played up her curls throughout the session. She stood out among all the blooming flowers of the Botanical Gardens. She was a Rockstar and I’m so happy I was able to meet this incredible young lady! Thank You so much, Michelle! Have the Best Year Yet!
