I am a wedding and portrait photographer who keeps things light, fun, and full of energy. I’m based out of Springfield, Illinois however I love traveling all over the midwest and beyond.

Small, intimate gatherings with the ones closest to you make for the best memories! I believe this is exactly what Maggie and Dale had in mind when they planned their summer nuptials at Brookhills Golf Course in Springfield, Illinois. The pair chose a beautiful spot out on the course under a huge shade tree to hold their ceremony as well as set their gorgeous family style table for their meal. Adorn with candles, greenery, detailed glasses, personalized menus, cookies, and welcoming log benches for guests and the couple to sit together. It was simply lovely!
Maggie met her groom at a rustic, chic wooden alter after a short walk down the aisle with her father. She was an absolute stunner in her amazing form-fitting lace dress and cathedral length veil! And Dale was not to be outdone by his bride. He had incredible style going on with navy slacks, white collared shirt, and brown leather suspenders for good measure. They shared many touching moments while exchanging vows, rings, and gifts to the mini bridal party including Dale’s son Payton and Maggie’s niece, Lola as Maggie’s brother in law officiated the quaint ceremony. And with one sweet kiss…They were husband and wife! We spent some time capturing their wonderful families with a few photos before they all sat down for a delicious dinner. Once their bellies were full, everyone headed back to the clubhouse where they were greeted by many more smiling faces of family and friends, who came out to celebrate the couple. Yet, before the new Mr. and Mrs. Smith were pulled too deep into the party, I stole them at sunset for a few more photos of just the two of them! You can tell the newlyweds have a blast together as they joked and laughed all the way through until the end. Thank You to Maggie and Dale for allowing me to be a part of your special day! Cheers to your new married life together!
Warm Regards,
Lauren
