The Merrick Family is exactly the type of family I love working with! They had plenty of energy to go around, jokes were flying throughout our time together, and they were eager to be surrounded by one another! I met Jenny through mutual friends a few years ago and instantly adored her for her humor and genuine nature! I was so thrilled for her when I found out her and her husband, John were expecting a baby boy! Jenny has a 13 year old son, Austin who seemed pretty pumped to be a big brother. Jenny had reached out to me about getting photos since her sister was in town from Las Vegas and her whole family planned to be together over the weekend. Now that baby Tucker had arrived it was the perfect moment to celebrate!

It was not lost on anyone that it was very HOT over the weekend! Shade was our friend and we decided to photograph this lovely crew right in front of the Merrick home! One by one we worked through all the cute combinations of family members to ensure we captured everything we could think of. Although, let’s be honest….Tucker was front and center in the majority of photos! Everyone seemed to be fighting over who got to hold him next! We even took our time once we completed photos with the entire family to focus a bit on Tucker along with his immediate family. Tucker didn’t want to miss anything so it took a little time to get him off to dreamland. But, once he was asleep we snuck him out to the warmth of the yard for a few last photos of this handsome newborn! Thanks again Merrick Family for having me out to your home!
