Running wild on the family farm is what these cousins do best! Although they all live outside of Springfield, Illinois, they were all in town over the Easter holiday weekend. It was the perfect time to catch up! I’m always honored when my lovely friend, Rachel, who I have known since grade school, plans a trip back from their own family farm close to the Indiana boarder for photos of her crew. Especially when I get to see how big her two boys Weston and Holden are getting! And this time I had the pleasure of photographing them along with their cousin, Griffin, who was only a few months old the last time I got him in front of my camera! These boys were non stop jumping from one cool tractor to the next or any other exciting piece of machinery their Grandpa could pull out of the shed! Their puppy cousin, Boone even got in on the photo fun! And we couldn’t finish the session up without a good ole fashion Easter Egg Hunt! Before the madness of the hunt began we asked the boys to sit with their lovely baskets in front of them. Yet, what the boys heard was wear your basket on your head! This made for a pretty hilarious and memorable shot! Thanks so much for having me out to the farm again! Catching up with my friend and photographing her family is repeatedly a highlight of my year!
