I had been talking with soon to be mom, Amy for awhile leading up to the holiday season. She told me that she and her husband, Neil, were expecting their first baby right before Christmas and they were interested in setting up newborn photos. They did not find out the sex of the baby as they simply wanted a little one to call their own. All they cared about was a healthy baby to hold no matter if they were blessed with a boy or girl. After a very long time of trying for a baby they were finally grateful to share their news that they were pregnant! Then their wish came true the evening of Christmas Day! They welcomed a handsome son, Dominic to their family! 

This little Santa baby was perfect! A head of dark hair like dad, bright alert eyes, and a cute button nose! Dominic was very interested already in his surroundings constantly following whoever held him with his eyes! Mom and Dad joked about how he is already a mama’s boy and loves being snuggled by Amy. Yet, you can tell Neil will hold his own in the dad department. He made sure Dominic and Amy were taken care of during the session and had everything they needed. The majority of the session was spent rocking Dominic to sleep. He is the sweetest little guy and by no means was fussy. I honestly only heard him cry once. He just didn’t want to miss any of the action. He would appear to be asleep and then when I tried to set him down to pose him for the photos his beautiful eyes popped open to check out what was happening! I knew we only had a few moments each time to capture the photos of his adorable face! Mom did a great job picking out his little outfits and knit hats. We celebrated his Christmas Day birth with his little Santa outfit. Yet, I think though my favorite was his reindeer knit cocoon and hat! Talk about precious!
