Back in the beginning of March, Myo reached out to me about photographing her family of 10 at the Sugar Creek Covered Bridge in Chatham, Illinois. Her father is dealing with some health issues and she really wanted to get everyone together to surround him in love and record their memories together. I know how much family means in my life so generational sessions, for me, are such a gift in themselves. When you have the blessing to get multiple generations together and document the connections and fun that can translate over the years it is just touching. And you should totally do it!

We had to reschedule once due to bad weather, but as pay back Mother Nature gave us an absolutely incredible evening to work with on Sunday evening. We had a wonderful time working through all the special combinations of family members, throwing in some bear hugs, and family jumps by request. There was so much love floating around the air during our session people were just grabbing one another to get a photo taken with them in between my different set ups. No one wanted to miss an opportunity to have a keepsake with a niece, aunt, father, (or my personal favorite) 3 generations of women. I thoroughly enjoyed my time with this fantastic family and wish them nothing but good fortune and positive vibes of good health.
